Default passive voive

How can I ask a question to this sentence in passive?

"Our trip had to be put off because my sister got sick "

*Why was your trip had to be put off ? OR
*Why did your trip have to be put off?

Thank you for your help.

Active: We put off our trip because my sister got sick.
Passive: Our trip was put off because my sister got sick.

Question Formation
1. Replace 'because my sister got sick' with 'Why?':
Our trip was put off Why?
2. WH-Movement: Move 'Why' to the front of the sentence:
Why our trip was put off?
3. Subject-Aux Inversion: Switch the positions of the subject and the auxiliary:
Why was our trip put off?

Optional
4. Pronoun agreement (Semantics): Replace 'our' with 'your':
Why was your trip put off?

Question: Why was your trip put off?
Answer: Because my sister got sick.
