when a person hates doing something, it's either s/he is FORCED to do so, or s/he doesn't have a CHOICE.
BUT ON THE BRIGHT SIDE:
if your already in that situation, like being forced to learn English, what you can do is: MAKE THE MOST OUT OF IT. You don't know how many people out there would like to exchange places with you just to have the great opportune to learn English.

I looked like a fool to my crew mates for I kept trying to speak in English though it was very difficult for me and that my regional accent is very audible. That was two years ago. And months ago, I met my supervisor in the street and noticed such improvement in me. Now, I am teaching basic English to Koreans and is learning from it as well... I'm convinced there's still a lot more to learn in English!!! I even wonder when it will stop...

I like the english language very much!!! When it comes to pronunciation, I prefer Ame accent. Despite the foregoing, matching words with appropriate prepositions seems like a milestone to me.

Frankly, I hate English! What kind of a language is this? Most of the words in English contain several or even many meanings. Facility, for example. When I checked the dictionary I found many meanings for facility which are irrevelant. Some of them are: easy, simple, dexterity, proficiency, equipment, and tool. So many meanings in the one word, facility!

As another example of what I am talking about, the word right means power, justice, and a direction.

In my language each word contains only one meaning, and if there is more than one meaning it is relevant.
