Please help in correcting these sentences.

PLease correct the following statements and also in which area of grammar i should concentrate .
1-Making homework assigned by a professor is one of the
best ways that a student has of mastering material covered in class.

2-Because genetic researchers already will find the blueprint
of the human genome, many scientists believe that cures to most of the major diseases will soon be found.

3-Some native grasses of California are too drought resistant that they never need watering.

4-Some lizard societies of Sonoran Mexico are too matriarchal in nature that no males whatsoever reside in their communities.

5-Ecology, the branch of science that deals with the connection between living organism and their environment, has evolved into a required course at many univesities.

We usually "do" homework. If you change "making" to "doing", the sentence is fine.

2-Because genetic researchers already will find the blueprint
of the human genome, many scientists believe that cures to most of the major diseases will soon be found.

Change "will find" to "have found". We use the present perfect there because the blueprint has already been found but it is still relevant to the search for cures.

3-Some native grasses of California are too drought resistant that they never need watering.

Change "too" to "so". The "too" version would mean that they are overly resistant. The "so" version means that they are very resistant. The pattern is [so x that y is true].

4-Some lizard societies of Sonoran Mexico are too matriarchal in nature that no males whatsoever reside in their communities.

Again "so matriarchal that y is true".

5-Ecology, the branch of science that deals with the connection between living organism and their environment, has evolved into a required course at many univesities.

Add an "s" to "organism" to make it plural. There is more than one organism.
