What can you say bout' my country(Philippines)?

I afraid of some offencive comments from Asians.
I studied about the world war 2nd a little.
According to my poor knowledge, we committed spoiling(or destroying) the Asians human rights. This is the history. Now, I really think very sorry for Asians. I feel I shouldn't travel to Asian countries.

Actually, I think this is a good reason for you to travel to Asian countries and make friends there. Today, Japan is one of the most peaceful places in the world. Show them that side of Japan. I think you will find that the younger generations of people are open to accepting Japanese as good people.

Here in my country,everytime we(students at school) criticize the equipments at school or we tell the teachers it's hard to do sth or we say with current trend we will never develop our country and industrie and that kind of things,the teachers reply to us:
you should learn from Japanese people.they did all that stuff.student in Japan make so many things in their school labs,workers really work and ...

and then we tell the teacher not to compare our high schools with Japanese schools.

i mean from one point of veiw,people here consider Japan a developed country that can be a good pattern for us.for example everytime they begin talking about earthquake,they remark buildings that will not be taken down easily.

mostly they talk about Japan when are debating on household equipment,developed countries,and it's heavy earthquakes that leave least possible damages.

My job is working with suppliers who sell parts to my factory. The japanese way of manufacturing is everywhere and done by everyone, and we even say many japanse words to describe what we are doing. So to me, the japanese have deeply influenced the american manufacturing process, methods, and even the words. For example: "Kaizen" means continuous improvement, and "kanban" means a factory worker uses a card to signal that the line needs more parts.
