Cool Winston Churchill

Sir Winston Churchill

Now, my curiosity is the following: have you noticed that his name is composed of church+ill? Isn't it strange this combination: church, which is connected with piety, while ill is connected with disease?

Hmmm...I think the words Church + hill are what the name is made up of. The man/woman who lives on the hill on which the church stands.

It is an interesting approach! So you say the Churchill is made up of church & hill= a church on the hill. So double h became single one. Exellent, you have just given me a good approach! Thanks a lot for your opinion,

Madox

You're welcome Madox...but it's not an opinion so much as a fact. (Yes I admit it....I googled it to check!)
