Story for movies

Can you guys please help me giving ideas of story for movies and films.

Well, I have just given a task to make a good story for a movie. But I couldn't think much better about the story.

Please help me.

Can you be a little clearer? Are you asked to write a proposal for a film?

A proposal will contain the summary of the plot and any subplots, an account of the characters involved and an indication of what you are trying to say in your film.

Take a favourite story [and short stories are better than novels for this], and turn it into a film.

It's not like taking a published one and write the summary. We are supposed to make our own stories.

I think you can watch movies or you can read some stores.Maybe that can help you.I have good idea....you can write about yourself that's easy for you or you can write another people...

Well, actually, I wanna make something different from others' works.

I wanna make a story which has never been made before.

Somekind of horror movies, comedy, or even romance.

Can you please help me giving advices in specific way.

Seriously, if it your story, then it must come from you. You could use something from your own life as a basis, or something that is in a traditional story, or something you saw in a newspaper that struck you as odd or exciting.

First decide what kind of film you want to make - horror, love, comedy, suspense, ghost story.

Then work out a plot, with a start, a middle and an ending.

Then work out what characters you want.

Then write your proposal.

And I think you need to decide on the attitudes of your characters for them not to act contrary to their principles. Make the profile of your characters first.

what about making a movie about telepathy,like two people who have never even met,but their deeds or words or thought effects the other one's strongly and they don't even know that.(maybe until they meet each other?)

I like these types of movies anyway
