Can I argue that ' would he ' means ' would one ' ? But somehow it should be ' would he ' :P considering ' one ' is used in front.

I think they wouldn't match. Because we say 'one wouldn't', then useit in the tag.

"They" is used in tags questions to cover both "he" and "she".

I would happily use 'they', but if you use 'one', stick with it.

I agree, unless ' no one ' is used instead of ' one '
eg. No one would want ...... , wouldn't they :)

After 'no one', I would use 'they', but some would use 'he' or 'he or she'.
