I strongly believe that you can improve your general english by just reading.
And yes, watching english movies is a big plus. It scales you up on the english front like no other. Watch atleast 1 movie a day, in less than a month you'll be good to go.

How about speaking skill? If I live in non-english country, is there a way to practice english speaking? Someone told me to speak after conversations in the movie but it was so fast so I couldn't catch any words.

Try getting spoken word recordings and listening to them, then repeating them. You can stop and rewind to keep hearing the spoken sentences. Poetry can be a good thing to teach yourself to hear rhythm in spoken word.
