Hello all,
The usages of synonyms are always a pain in my neck. I suppose these words are also a problem for learners of English, which is not their mother tongue. It seems to me that some dictionaries fail to define them explicitly so I start this thread to collect usages of them, which have been clarified by our forum members. If you have read any useful post about usage of any set of synonyms, please kindly submit them here as below format - words and their URL links. And I will update and arrange them alphabetically in the first post of this thread now and them. Many thanks!
P.S. If you have any questions about the usages of them, please go to Ask a Teacher. This thread is not supposed to pose or answer questions about them.
