Default Books on dialects of England

Hallo,

I 'm writing a thesis for my bachelor degree. I'm interested in the dialects of England, more precisely, dialects of big cities, eg. London and the Cockney dialect (if I have enough materials I'll describe only this one). I'd like to cover cultural background, phonology, vocabulary.

Do you have any materials (eg. books in .pdf) or links that would prove useful for my thesis? I've already gone over englishtips.org or gigapedia.org.

I have access to "The dialects of England" of Peter Trudgill (in a library 50km from my home) but that is not enough.
