I like Australians' accents. There are some that are pretty deep, but, those around the Brisbane area sound pretty cool.

I'm all for our accent here in Canada, eh! It is definitely is a forced to be reckoned with. :)

Aside from that, I think the Scots have a great accent!

I like many Canadian accents and Scottish accents, especially from northern Scotland.

Also English spoken with a Sindarin accent.

I like Indian English accent. As I am a francophone, I find it easier to understand. Indians are rolling their r's like we do in French. Of course, I like Montréal English accent too because I'm familiar with it, it's the accent I grow up with. Montréal English accent is a very specific blend, very clear, and you can feel the French rhythm behind.

I think now the discussion must concentrate on what is an accent!
I think it is the time period and stress on certain words and sounds, and the rhyming like sound from mother tongue(for other than the English mother tongue speaker) languaage, which makes an accent different.
I request members to discuss the finer points of sound, time period, stress on certain sound, the rhyming of speech etc., which makes an accent.
