I have this text ( I need to replace each number with the corresponding word). I tried but I don't have any solution I would be very grateful for any help! Thanks!

Be very specific about what you want. For example, ‘better communication’ is not a clear objective. ..1.. is merely wanting a raise. If you ask for a raise and your boss says yes, you may wind up with $1.50 more a week. A little background is probably necessary to frame your problem, but don’t get carried ..2.. with long-winded speeches.

You may have had trouble because it's a very poorly constructed sentence. The writer is giving examples of unclearly-stated objectives; one is 'better communication' the other is 'a raise'. Try this:

Be very specific about what you want. For example, asking for ‘better communication’ is not clear . ..1.. is merely saying you want a raise, without suggesting an amount.

I still can't find a suitable inclusion unless it's two words - "Another example".
If the preceding sentence had been "One example is asking for ‘better communication’, which is not is not clear", then "Another" could be used.
In any case, that isn't the text the OP has to deal with.
