Hey, I bet everybody's got their preferable dictionaries...
Well, I heard that at least they are two kinds of them for sale... American and British... But most of them covered the varieties, at least for those two major varieties of English...
And if I'm not mistaken, MacMillan is a dictionary which used plain English and very user-friendly as well. It is probably because they provided such information for those who wants to know about the word especially from the scratch... But because of this sometimes the explanation is too long..
Collins is indeed a very good dictionary. But I noticed that sometimes they used a hard word to describe another hard word. Perhaps it might be better for those who have decent English.
But for me, I still prefer Oxford... Why? Perhaps because I'm used to the style since I'd already used it for a pretty long time...
So what's yours?and why?

And online I like OneLook Dictionary Search because it checks hundreds of dictionaries at the same time.
