Current Location: Kazakhstan First Language: Russian Member Type: Other | | Re: All talk and no trousers all hat and no cattle implies the person thus described is a liar, a fraudster, not just a boaster who won't do what he says. it's a guy(or gal) who makes grandious claims that have no basis in reality. for somebody who talks the talk without walking the walk, as ur definition of the idiom all talk and no trousers suggests, all bark and no bite would be a better fit |

In my mind, this is not quite the same meaning as "All talk and no trousers". |

One more is similar to it that 'jo garajtay hain wo barastey nahi' - i don't know what it will be called in english, never heard.......
