Sleep like a log

He slept like a log while we were talking loudly last night.
The bears sleep like a log in the winter live in North pole and South pole of the earth.

It seems like a well and deep sleep to me...

And a log doesn't even move an inche from where you put it, so, it would be sleep like a log....
