| Hello! I am new here, and just noticed that you have a thread about semantic prosody. I am studying post graduate English and have to do a seminar paper on semantic prosody. I also find it fascinating just as you said M56, and agree with you. So far U have read Sinclair's Trust The Text, an article by Wolfram Bublitz, and Michael Hoey's vies on semantic prosody. Could you recommend some further reading? Am just starting with my seminar paper and could use some suggestions, since this is a relatively new linguistiv topic. Thx! Petra |
