Default Possessive noun with abbreviations ending in "S"

Hi, I'm using this abbreviation in a dissertation thesis: RE which stand for "Radcliffe and Erness", the names of two authors.

I want to write "Radcliffe and Erness' work". How can I write this using the abbreviation?

RE' work

or

RE's work

Should I use the S after the apostrophe?

Agree. You should write "RE's work." Alternatively, re-phrase it. "... the work of RE in the field of ..."
