Default Please help: Ambiguity

Please help me. My head is spinning today.

What is ambiguous with this sentence:

POLICE HUNT RECENTLY ESCAPED PRISONERS WITH DOGS.
My guess:
That the prisoners is recently escaped and that the police recently hunted them
