    I want to study MA in Applied Linguistics and I want to specialize in English curriculum development
    what is the role of Applied Linguistics specifically sociolinguistics in developing the English curriculum ?

    I'd be interested in what you want to do to/with the English curriculum. An MA in Education might be more appropriate.
