Another useful site is http://www.free-esl.com/ which also has links for CALL software - handy for teaching kids with access to computers!

May I suggest my own site? You may sign up for free games and ideas for children aged 6 to 12 here:
ESL games and activities for teaching English to children
You may receive a free mini-series for 3 to 5 year olds consisting of:
Part one: Pre-story games and activities to teach vocabulary. Colour flashcards for the vocabulary are included!
Part two: Storytelling tips and the story itself, Hetty and the Lion, with colour illustrations.
Part three: Post-story ideas and games

Hi...young learners like to have fun in the classroom, and I think games wil be a good idea. But you can also use songs, you can use Barny's songs because they are easy for children and very useful in learning.

Picture flashcards are a good way to help children learn. Foreign Language Flashcards has some ESL picture flashcards, and also some files to create your own language files if studying another language, or wanting to learn some vocabulary in the student's first language.

Try to check this site: Free Printables for Teachers - Free flashcards, printable games, free worksheets, printables, phonics, clipart, projects, ebooks and other resources
I find it very useful, you can find great materials for your lessons there.
