Default The Basque language

I send another SOS to whom could enlighten me on Finnish Ouralian tongues ?
I'm also taking the Aborigenal languages.
I 'm studying the Basque language and I've read a couple of linguistic theses on the subject. Now, I need informants and a sufficient corpus of phonetic and lexical items to make a proper comparative survey.
Could anybody give me information on the phonetic law of Ramsted ? I know the gist of it but not the details.
Thank you

Alain: I believe you need a purely linguistic website for such specific topics. I would like to suggest: Discussions - sci.lang | Google Groupes Be careful there some threads which are posted but not related to linguistics.

Dr,
Do you have any knowledge on the subject ?
A purely linguistic website wouldn't give the opportunity to meet informants and to build my personal corpus. Allegedly, There would be linguistic more or less academic exchanges . But I take your suggestion into account.
Thank you !
Alain

I am afraid not but I have seen people on sci.lang discussing various languages. I thought you might encounter somebody there who is knowledgeable and can at the same time suggest some new websites. I believe when raising such specific issues you might not find enough people here. It is worth trying anyway.
