Default Analyse Interview/Sociolinguistique

Hi, I have to analyse 3 interviews that I have conducted. I don't really know how to do that. I think I have to include the denotation, connotation and meaning.

I am quite lost with this task. How could I plan this analysis?

The topic of the interview was :

Choose a controversial sociolinguistique topic, I have choosen politeness.

Thanks for your help.

How do you see politeness as controversial?
