Required Profile Fields

The following fields in your member profile have been made required fields:

• Member Type - Whether you are a student, teacher etc.
• First Language - The name of the main language you speak (eg: Spanish)
• Your Country - The name of the country you come from (eg: Spain)
• Your Location - The name of the country where you are currently living (eg: France)

If you have not already filled all of these out, you will be asked to enter the missing information the next time you log in. This will help UsingEnglish.com better understand who its users are, and will help our users understand who they are talking to in the forum.

Another small change that went live yesterday was to the information displayed on each post about the poster. Every post will now show you information about where the poster is from, and their mother-tongue (first language). For example, my posts show the following:

Country: England
Location: London
First Language: British English
