Forthcoming Forum Upgrade

We have recently purchased brand new forum software which will provide everyone here with a large number of new features and tools, and hopefully a more reliable and professional forum.

We are currently testing and setting up the new system, and we hope to make the switch to the new system sometime in the next few days (if everything goes to plan).

So that there will be minimal disruption, everyone will be able to log in as usual with their current member names and passwords, and all old messages and discussions will have been imported into the new system.

TDOL and I will keep you all up to date with our progress when there is more news to report.

Kind regards,

Congrats!

It is so cool that we members would enjoy a brand new forum, like that we would have a brand new car and ride high! :D

Thanks, Red5 and Tdol.

After the upgarde, I noticed that I'm missing some posts (like 100posts). Is the server still getting upgraded? Will I get my messages back? I can't review some of my messags I asked when the teachers taught me.

They should all be imported into the new software, so you should get them all.

Jack, the only messages that will be missing from this forum are those posted on Saturday morning (08:00 - 14:00 GMT). All others were imported as TDOL said.

Once you've started using this, the old one looks rather shoddy in comparison.

There's a serious problem here. I wanted to sent a PM but I failed. Finally, I found that nearly each of my PM has doubled. I have many two exactly the same PMs in inbox now.
