teed off = angry and upset
feeling down = sad
mixed up = confused
maxed out = overextended (financially)

'teed off' in BE doesn't mean that- 'tee off' is to start, from golf.

It's a golfing term in AE too.
  • A: What time are you starting?
    B: I tee off at 2.
    A: That gives us time for a few drinks.
