Post Pronunciation of Cabin

Hi,

What are the acceptable pronunciations of "Cabin"?

Is it C // bin or C // bin..?

raindoctor is an unknown quantity at this point

I don't hear "ei" in cabin. However, "ei" is heard in these similar words: reagan, gagan, pagan, basin, cajun, haven, laden, nathan etc.


It appears that "ei" is not heard before bilabial stops of two syllable nouns.
