How is it pronounced? Are there different variations?
Is the "t" pronounced?

Semee' is the english pronounciation and 'semai' is the american pronunciation for both semi and semi-. Actually, I watched the American car racing TV programme, the host always says 'semai' final.....

Some people have an education. Many of these make a deliberate choice about how to pronounce words having two or more pronunciations. That is what I mean.

No doubt. Here's one of the characteristics of English I really love: the space it leaves for personal choice and individuality in matters of pronunciation. On the other hand, and especially in the case of the educated, it evidently might get a little exaggerated as well, or even border on pretentiousness. So sometimes, of course, it is about indicating group affiliation, or, some might say, elitism.

There are two ways that I know of:

1. ant-acid
2. an-tacid

Unless /t/ is aspirated in (2), since it is the onset of the stressed syllable, (1) and (2) are same.

I don't hear aspirated /t/ there.
