Pronunciation of "You and I"
Hi All,
I'd like to know I always hear native people say "You and I" as "You and Die"...how come they would say that like this? Please advise.

Re: Pronunciation of "You and I"
it is liaison in connected speech.
you and i = you an die
you and i = you nnie (nd > n)
s and p = smp (assimilation of place n > m, beause of /p/)
npr = mpr
r and b (recall hiphop r and b) = r m b
