Hi! I need to discuss this quote for my final exam, and i dont have a clue of what it means.. I need some help, please!
Thanks in advance!!!
extra loundness is secondary, imo. The trick is to hold the vowel longer: if it is a long vowel, you have no problems. In the case of short vowels, you need to focus on the consonants just before the stressed vowel.
Well, solchu, what do you think "extra" loudness means? (I have my own ideas.)
Okay, here goes:
Extra loudness means that you start off being loud and for the accent you are extra loud. (Utterly nonsensical.)
