Pronunciation
Hello
There are two different groups of words in English:
bald - bold
ball - bowl
ect...
Could you tell me if you pronounce them differently?
I would want to hear opinions of Americans and the British.

Re: Pronunciation
Hi
As an NES (UK), but not a teacher, I would pronounce "bald" similar to "balled" i.e. (phonetically) as "borld", but "bold" similar to "bowled".
Hope you can understand the differentiation I'm making.
Regards

Re: Pronunciation
I'm American, and here it is the same as reported above for the British form. Bald = Balled (bɑːld) and Bold = Bowled (boʊld)
