I pronounced the word husband as 'husband' until yesterday when someone told me it should be 'huzband'. Do native speakers accept the letter 's' there pronounced as [s] instead of [z]?
By the way, dictionaries say it is a [z] sound.

husband?????_??_???????
However, one pronouncer in the links adopts s rather than z.
Hi.
I've checked in Cambridge Online Dictionary.
Husband is /ˈhʌz.bənd/.
So, it is going to be /z/ instead of /s/.

I've only ever heard 'huzband from native speakers.

In AmE it is pronounced with a 'z'.
