Default Stress

Hi teachers,

I want to find out where do u put the stress on "How are you?" and "Good morning"

It seems that some of my coworkers say "How are you?" and some say "How are you?" ;

some say "Good morning" and some say "Good morning"

They are all native speakers and that makes me confused. Pls help.

Default Re: Stress

"How ARE you?" when the first person says this, the other one will say:"(I'm fine.And)how are YOU?" in reply.
