    Default pronunciation of 'weatherman'

    Do we pronounce 'weatherman' same as we do 'gentleman' with a vowel reduction? How about 'weather-man( no reduction)'? Does it sound strange?

    I do not reduce the vowel in weatherman, so "weather-man" would not sound strange to me.
