spelling verbs
What is correct and why? opened or openned
i know it's a matter opf stressing but how do i know in which verbs the firt syllable is stressed and in which ones the second?, thank you.

Thanks a lot.
Though, is it possible to find in the internet a list of verbs that are stressed on the first syllable and on the second?
because, i canīt find the way to learn the stressing pattern for such issue.

Please, capitalize the first word of every sentence and the word "I".
The best way is (in my opinion) to learn how to stress a word the moment you've learned it, if possible. You will find this information in dictionary entries, but make sure you've checked how your dictionary denotes stress.

English words don't follow regular stress patterns the way they do in some languages. Native speakers will have to go to the dictionary to check new words; I have picked up words I had never heard used and been wrong about how I thought they would be pronounced. That's one reason for always having a good dictionary.
