pronunciation of 'along'
Dear teachers...
What's the correct pronunciation of 'along'?
Some dictionaries say it should be (ə-lông, ə-lng) or əˈlɒŋ
Sometimes I can hear the /g/.
Which one is right? both?
Thank you

Re: pronunciation of 'along'
Like a + long /əˈlɔŋ/ in sentences like "I have a long beard."
A final g is present only in some dialects (or rather patois).
