    Default Luteal

Where does the accent fall in the word luteal (relating to the corpus luteum and the menstrual cycle)?

Oxford marks the second syllable while other sources such as The free dictionary or howjsay.com point to the first one.

    Oxford /luːˈtɪəl/
    The free dictionary [ˈluːtɪəl]

LPD gives only the first syllable. See what Raymott says - he's the expert on matters medical.
