There are many possibilities: /u:/, /ʊ/, /ju:/, /jʊ/, /eu:/, /eʊ/, /eɪu:/, /eɪʊ/...and using only English phonemes may not be appropriate anyway. I agree that the only way is to ask the person.

And yet the name he employs on stage as a performance artist is his middle name, Geuka (pronounced: Jay-yoo-kah) which is Swahili for re-birth.
