Re: Help needed: American English audio
"(unintelligible) …..pictures of the Hummer with the 28s? (laughter) I went to a Rangers game last night and I was talking to some Arlington cops at the hotel by the stadium, where the players stay? And three of them knew you last night, one was going to call you and get some autographed pictures….another cop from Shreveport……"
Ack! I think I'd better let Allenman handle this, he has a better ear for the Texas accent than I do!
(Just for some background info, though, the Texas Rangers are a Major League Baseball team, Arlington is a city in Texas, Shreveport is a city in Louisiana, and what the man is discussing is a Hummer with 28 inch wheel rims.)
