native english speaker vs. non-native speaker
Hello everyone from English speaking world.
I am interested to learn (if there is any difference) –looking at phonetic between:
native English speakers VS non-native speaker of the following counteries:
American English speaker and non-native speaker
Australian English speaker and non-native speaker
British English speaker and non-native speaker
New Zealand English speaker and non-native speaker
Thank you
Re: native english speaker vs. non-native speaker
Non-native speakers could speak any of hundreds of different languages and be at very different stages with English pronunciation, so I would say it is too broad a question to answer. Some non-native speakers are indistinguishable, but most do show differences.
