Hi there,
Can anyone help to write following words in a phonemic transcription? British
pronunciation. Thanks.
"United States of America"
"knights"
"walked"
"houses"
"watching"

Re: Phonemic transcription
Try to do it yourself, using a dictionary. Post your attempts here, and we'll comment/correct/help.

Re: Phonemic transcription
Doesn't this request conflict a bit with your earlier answer:
Not 'do' my work. Rather to comment if I have done it correctly or help to point out the mistakes.

/ju:'nɑɪtɪd/ /steɪts/ /ɒv/[(unstressed) əv] /ə'merɪkə/------>United states of America
/nɑɪts/-Knights
/wɔːkt/-walked
/hɑʊzɪz-houses
/wɒtʃɪŋ-watching(Well, I'm not sure if there's a stress part in this word)
