Problem with Kirkcudbright
I couldn't find transcription for this one in any of the sources available to me. Would be nice if anyone could help and provide transcription for this word (uk). Or render me to a resource where you can check this.

Most people, including some natives of the town I've met pronounce it as /kə'ku:bri/; some have the first syllable as /kɜ:/. The LPD gives the /kə/ version first, the Campridge EPD gives the /kɜ:/ version first. Wikipedia gives /kərˈkuːbriː/ kirr-koo-bree. All agree that the second syllable is /u:/.
