    Default North Lincolnshire Accent

    Dear teachers and friends...

Could you take a look at this link below and tell me if I am the only one having trouble understanding this man from North Lincolnshire (England)?

Guy Martin interview - TT3D Closer To The Edge Premiere - YouTube

    Thank you

You're not the only one. I think I would be able to understand him if I tried but you just want to know if I find it difficult so I didn't. He's speaking very fast which I find more problematic than his accent.

His accent caused me, a native speaker, no problem. The speed did.

His hesitation and repetitions made a couple of sections a little difficult to follow but I was ok with about 90% of it with no problem at all. I suppose it might help that one of my best friends is from East Lincolnshire but her accent is quite soft and quite different to that of the guy in the film.
