Pronunciation "Eight" and "A"?
Hi Everyone,
I always hear people say "Eight" would have same pronunciation as "A", what do you think?

Re: Pronunciation "Eight" and "A"?
'Eight' has the same vowel sound as 'A', though it's a little shorter. However, 'eight' ends in the vowel /t/. In certain contexts this /t/ may not be exploded, and some speakers may produce it a a glottal stop, but the two words are always produced differently.
Context is important. Please provide enough for us to be able to deal effectively with your question.
