Please give me a list of "Long and Short pronounced words"
e.g. Long:- Lazy, foragers, job, combs, being, force

Can you suggest any site(s) to get information on Long and Short pronounced words?

Re: Long and Short pronounced words
I don't know what you mean by 'long and short pronounced words'. What is 'long' about 'job''?

Dictionaries might help- there are hundreds of thousands of words in English. I think your issue may be one of understanding the difference- I'm not sure how hive is a short sound and repair has a short and a long sound. How do you classify words that mix short and long vowel sounds, especially multi-syllabic words? I can't think why anyone would try to make a comprehensive list of them, and the irregular spelling system of English is another factor to take into account. I have seen many word lists, but nothing on these lines.

Thanks for replying...
I was surprised with the same when the teacher asked my daughter. I supposed to get help from this forum. I thought based on the pronunciation, the words would be bifurcated.
