"... has/have ..."
"CBN.com – Esteban worries about his family and providing enough food for them. But mostly he wonders how he can find a better place to live in. For the past four years, this family of six has lived in a house with a ceiling so low that they couldn’t stand upright inside. And the house was also falling apart."

I think that the usage of the verb “to have” as an auxiliary verb in the transcription and what has been used after "family of six" in that video is different. As you see in the transcription, "has" is being used while in the video "have" is used. Am I right?

Re: "... has/have ..."
Yes.
You'll often find such minor inconsistencies in transcriptions such as this one. Hardly anybody notices them - they are not important; they do not change the meaning,
Context is important. Please provide enough for us to be able to deal effectively with your question.
