Hi,
I agree! both cricket and baseball are very boring games. Someone once said watching cricket is like watching paint drying - very apt, don't you agree? I am not sure about Chilean players, although I am sure there are some very good ones. I have heard of Colo-Colo and O'Higgins teams.

I myself am a fan of the greatest club team in the world - Glasgow Celtic :- English teams are on the whole made up of foreign players and stolen money and in my opinion are gutless and without character. We shall wait for the response and torrents of abuse. HAIL HAIL!!

Like baseball, I find soccer boring to watch, but fun to play.

For watching, I like American football, basketball, and hockey.

Mike,

There is a difference between 'playing' and 'playing at' as the great golfer Roberto De Vicenzo once said.

On the subject of soccer, it really depends on which level you are watching. In North America it is in its infancy and you do not have the opportunity to watch the true greats of the game like Brazil, France, Italy etc. I am sure this holds true for all other sports, including cricket and baseball. having said that, there are some americans plying their trade in the most competiive leagues and recognised as stars.

With all respect, I have watched many World Cup Games. Other than the obnoxious fans, I find little difference. It's all a matter of taste.

most of the opinions said by native tounge SO listen to my opinion

British pronunce the word as a word except '' r '' which make me crazy so it is useful because in any language u should learn the source to understand poetry & litreture.

americans cut alot from words And speak so fast but their accent can be developed And as i told british can`t.

if you aske me what i am going to learn first , i will tell the british pronounciation
