It's very hard even for other native speakers of English to understand, so don't worry about it.
I have a story about jumping out of windows.
Recently, the Glasgow fire service published a booklet which gave advice on what to do in the event of a house fire. They also published a version in Urdu because many people of Pakistani origin live in the city. The English version said that if you must jump out of a window, try to jump on to a cushion. There was a slight mistake in translation in the Urdu version. It said if you must jump out of a window, try to jump on to a donkey!
ha ha
I will feel bad if you fun of me

Re: should learn American or British pronunciation?
Like dah, we should so like er speak Am-E. NOT!! Who would ever want to learn to read and write in a language which is grammatically incorrect and even (most) Americans agree that they have a horrible accent and just love ours. Us English know we do evrything so much better -that's because we are a much more sophicticated race. Like fuck yeah!

Re: should learn American or British pronunciation?
Of course first of all you should learn proper British pronunciation
cos that is how you will learn classical version of English language , in order to be understood everywhere in the World
After you know proper pronunciation , you will have no problems learning American, Australian and the other versions of English language:)
