You'll hear it as five syllables- diliburutly- and four- dilibrutly.

This is a 5 syllable word pronounced WITH or WITHOUT syllabic "r":

"dI".lIb.r.@(a)t.li"

If it's pronounced without, then how does it remain a five-syllable word? Many speakers lose the sound before the 'r' in speech, thus losing a syllable, just as 'interesting' often becomes a three-syllable word.

Interesting & yes you're right there. It's usually a 5-syllable word, EXCEPT course, if "r" is used as a "syllabic r".
