Default Benveniste

Hello,

Could I ask you if you happen to know how the proper noun "Benveniste" (the French linguist) is pronounced in English. I have tried to obtain this piece of information by looking it up in Well's Pronouncing Dictionary, but to no avail.

Many thanks in advance !

Stephan

symbols
[E] as in bed (though nasalized)
[?] as in the
[I] as in sit
