Default thematize

Hello,

Could anyone confirm to me that "thematize" (an unusual word, although it definitely does exist : http://www.google.fr/search?hl=fr&rl...ematized&meta=) is pronounced with a long vowel (/i:/) in the stressed initial syllable ?

Many thanks in advance

Stephan

I would MOST LIKELY go with "i:" in the initial syllable & hence the whole phonetic would be:

/Ti:.m@.taIz/

Generally speaking since Editor agrees with me there shouldn't be any confusion now & hence I'm inclined to believe that this is how the Cambridge would define the phonetic as well ;)
